India vs New Zealand 3rd Test:
Ajaz Patel’s six-wicket haul helped New Zealand defeat India by 25 runs in the third Test on Sunday in Mumbai. This is the first time in the history of Test cricket that India got whitewashed in a three or more-match series at home. Chasing 147, India got a poor start as they kept on losing wickets regularly, at 29runs lost their 5 wickets. Only Rishabh Pant (64) kept India’s hope alive. However, he also became controversial victim of Ajaz and departed. India ended up losing the match by 25 runs. Ajaz Patel became the player of the match as he scalped a total of 11 wickets (5 and 6) and will young become the player of the series. Apart from Azaz, part timer Glenn Phillips also took three wickets. Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja completed his 10-wicket haul for India. With this win, the New Zealand have whitewashed the three-match series 3-0 in India, that became history in test cricket as India lost all three test matches in his home.
